Card Binding Failures
Multiple users report that Visa and Mastercard cards are rejected during the binding process, despite being officially supported. This appears to be the most common complaint in app reviews. If you encounter this, try a different card or a different issuing bank.
Cannot Scan Personal QR Codes

Best for: Backup payment method
If your card fails to bind on Alipay or WeChat Pay, Nihao China gives you a third option. Since it uses a different payment infrastructure (UnionPay), cards that fail elsewhere sometimes work here.
Not a replacement for Alipay
You still need Alipay for street vendors, personal QR codes, and the widest merchant coverage. Nihao China cannot handle these scenarios.
